Before there were fuzzy sparkly ones from Claire's... there were these hair candies! 9k gold with a beautiful carnelian, this little buzzer winds into your hair and truly does look like a golden fly has landed on your head!

The Victorians particularly were obsessed with nature and that was certainly reflected in jewelry: flowers, insects, animals etc. This lil beauty would have been worn by someone quite stylish indeed!
